International Forum on Mechanics - Parallel Session: "Production Systems"
This new century has witnessed deep changes in the production of both consumer and intermediate goods.
Delocalisation, tertiarisation and globalisation of production involve all the sectors: from consumer goods with low-technology content up to high-technology content producer goods.
As for all transition processes, trends succeed one another in ways that are difficult to detect and especially comprehend.
For this reason, the objective of the conference is to provide a 360° view on the production world covering both technology as well as geo-economic issues.

International Forum on Mechanics - Parallel Session: "Sustainable Mobility"
Automotive Industry is more and more facing sustainable mobility's topics. There is the opportunity to rethink and to radically innovate industrial models in connection with new technological trends as well as in view of energy-related and geo-political global contexts. The session is structured in three parts:
- KEYNOTE: technological factors that may have greatest influence in the development of better products and solutions for Sustainable Mobility
- INTERNATIONAL SCENERY: exponent of automotive companies, manufacturers of technological components and parts (electric motors, batteries, ICT systems), representatives of national institutions and local authorities, academics present their experience and their interpretation of the Present and of the Future of Sustainable Mobility

Filière Design The role of the project in the productive system of Emilia-Romagna

Il design è (ancora) un vanto del sistema Italia e il suo ruolo risulta tanto più importante quanto più viene inteso nel significato anglosassone di “progettazione/progettualità”, rispetto all’accezione più italiana di “styling”.
Attraverso la presentazione di best practice, il convegno ha l’obiettivo di evidenziare il vantaggio competitivo offerto dall’inserimento di metodologie progettuali all’interno dei comprensori produttivi emiliano-romagnoli.
L’evento vuole far emergere e mettere a confronto ipotesi di lavoro strategiche per l’economia e la società emiliano-romagnola, per avvicinare le politiche all’operatività delle imprese, per la trasformazione di una attitudine in sistema.

Launch of Start Cup - Spinner 2013 Emilia-Romagna
In questo convegno si porrà l'evidenza su come le politiche avviabili dall'Amministrazione Regionali e dalla Città di Bologna siano in grado di sviluppare un ecosistema di nuove imprese che offrono servizi in chiave Smart City: stimolare questa nuova economia che incida sul sistema delle piccole e medie imprese del territorio è la vera spinta per la crescita economica. Il tema Smart City diventa così un possibile punto di svolta per l'economia delle città proprio per la creazione di nuovi attori evoluti in grado di offrire soluzioni avanzate e innovative.
