Luca Foschini è Professore Associato di Distributed and Mobile Systems al Dipartimento di Informatica – Scienza e Ingegneria (DISI) dell’Università di Bologna. I suoi ambiti di ricerca spaziano dal middleware per il mobile computing alla gestione delle risorse del cloud computing federato, dall’industria 4.0 all’elaborazione di flussi online scalabili. È Principal Investigator del progetto SBDIO I4.0 per il Laboratorio Ciri ICT dell’Università di Bologna.

Luca Foschini is an Associate Professor of Distributed and Mobile Systems at the Computer Science and Engineering Dept. (DISI) of the University of Bologna. His research interests span from middleware for mobile computing, from context-aware service composition to federated cloud computing resource management, from industry 4.0 to mobile crowdsensing and scalable online stream processing. He is the Principal Investigator of SBDIO I4.0 project for the Laboratory Ciri ICT (University of Bologna).
